About the Artist

Cynthia Brunk holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with highest honor in
graphic design from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

​

Her professional experience includes: Production Editorial Manager,
McGraw-Hill Companies; Art and Design Manager, Macmillan Publishing
Company; Senior Text Designer, Merrill Publishing Company; and freelance
work in editing and graphic design.

 

Her personal and professional achievements include receiving numerous text design awards from Graphic Design USA, Chicago Women in Publishing, Printing Industries of America, National Composition Association, and Neographics. She has also been honored with numerous local, state, and national awards for drawing and needlework design.

Cynthia is a Signature Member of the Colored Pencil Society of America.
